DO YOU HAVE A BACHELOR'S DEGREE AND ARE INTERESTED IN BECOMING A CERTIFIED TEACHER? The UB Teacher Residency program (UBTR) is looking for people who have a Bachelor’s degree and are interested in becoming a NYS Certified teacher for the Buffalo Public Schools. UBTR is a graduate program that pays a $20,000 stipend while you earn a Master’s degree in Education and NYS certification to teach in a Buffalo Public School. Resident teachers serve in a co-teaching capacity alongside an expert mentor teacher for a full school year while simultaneously engaging in rigorous university coursework.
