The BPS Adult Education Division is the premier education and workforce skills training provider in the Western New York region. With a comprehensive service offering GED test preparation, English as a Second Language (ESL) and Computer courses/classes, the Division offers FREE educational services at its multiple sites, or via its home-based GED distance-learning program.

The Adult Education Division’s mission is to provide organized and sequential High School Equivalency Diploma Classes, Adult Literacy, Community & Continuing Education, and Career and Technical Education programs that are relevant for all adult students. The division ensures that adult education is accessible to students seeking alternative career pathways and lifelong learning opportunities.

The Adult Education Division's programs and services are based on the belief that learners of all ages, using the power of life-long learning, will become better equipped for the future by developing needed academic skills and becoming self-sufficient community members.
