New York State Textbook Loan Program

Under NYSED Law the Buffalo Public School District is required to loan textbooks to Buffalo resident students attending Charter and Non-public schools, and to provide hardware, software and library materials to any student attending a Charter and Non-public school located in the City of Buffalo.

Textbooks- $58.25 per Buffalo resident student

Hardware- $21.05 per student attending a school located in the City of Buffalo

Software- $14.98 per student attending a school located in the City of Buffalo

Library- $6.25 per student attending a school located in the City of Buffalo

The Charter and Non-Public schools will submit requisition requests via email to bpsbudget@buffaloschools.org using the designated form. The BPS Purchase department will place the order and have the items delivered to the school.
