When a student enters the area of MTT, he/she will be taught the use of non-production machining equipment. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
Lathes
Mills
Grinders

This is a shop where students learn the precise machining of metal components used in the manufacturing industry. Twenty-four students are accepted into this program.

Instruction will include math, the use of precise measuring instruments and the production of components to specific tight tolerances. Students will be instructed in the use of standard drafting and blueprint reading equipment. The introduction to and use of computer aided drafting (C.A.D.) is an integral part of the MTT curriculum
