About Our School-Based Management Team (SBMT)
The School-Based Management Team is a collaborative group of administrators, teachers, and parent/community representatives who guide decisions to support student learning and success. The SBMT meets monthly to review priorities, monitor progress, and provide input on the School Comprehensive Education Plan (SCEP) as well as budget and resource allocations.

Decisions are made through a consensus-based process, ensuring all perspectives are considered. Parent and community involvement is a key part of the team, helping ensure school initiatives reflect the needs of students and families.

The roster for SMBT Meetings must include the following:

Administrator: At least 1

Teachers: At least 5

• One who is BDT Delegate Chair or any other Building Committee member

• One teacher alternate per teacher member should be selected in case a teacher member is unable to attend a meeting

Parents: At least 5

• One who is a District Parent Coordinating Council (DPCC) representative and one who is the president of the PTO/PTA.

• One alternate for each parent member in the event of unavailability.

Meetings are at 10:30am on their scheduled day.
