PTO Meeting Minutes

Final Announcements Fall Fest is Nov. 4th at 5:30 pm Parent Night Out was a success. funds raised were over $1000. There were no major concerns, but it was agreed on the need for early planning for future events, with a focus on identifying a chairperson and scheduling. Fundraising events and outcomes and future ideas Fall Festival planning Notes: Racheal announced that at least six volunteers are needed for the fall fest. She described the activities planned for the event, including a hole tarp parachute game, a candy corn ring toss game, pumpkin decorating in the cafeteria, fall bingo, face painting and a fall-themed photo booth. Rachel will coordinate coat donations and distribution before and during Fall Fest Amy to send out information about Otis Spunkmeyer fundraising options via email Amy suggested making the virtual voting booth engaging by providing candidate information. Jessica proposed getting volunteers from UB's child psychology program. We will include a healthy food option donated by Jared like a fruit and veggie tray in addition to the school's food. Kellianne to send out detailed fundraising ideas to the PTO email list. Upcoming Events Fall Fest- looking for volunteers Coat Drive- The team agreed on a two-part approach: an ongoing collection through Christmas, with coats on display at the holiday fellowship, and a table at Fall Fest for people to grab coats. The team agreed to get Racheal's information out so people could contact her. Attendees Virtual meting with 12 participants including the PTO leaders and School Administrators.

Parent Teacher Organization Mission The purpose of the (PTO) is to build and invest in school #61 community. To maintain accountability between school and home by bridging relationships and fostering student enrichment through involvement, action, advocacy.
