Dear Parents/Guardians,

It is incredible that we are now closing out our first quarter of our 2023-2024 school year. We have had a productive Quarter 1. Here is a highlight of the things that we accomplished:

4. Kleinhan's Field Trips for many grade levels and some still to come.

5. Pink Day for Breast Cancer Awareness

6. Food Truck lunch

7. Our first PBIS incentive day (dance and game day)

8. Veteran's Day celebration

9. Red Ribbon Week

10. Picture Day

11. Thanksgiving Food Drive

12. Junior High Team Building Day

13. High school applications for our 8th grade students

Our afterschool program is up and running. We are hoping to open up more spots in the near future for those that are on the waitlist.

We have some very important events coming up in the next few weeks.

-Parent teacher conferences are on November 30 from 5-7 pm. Be on the lookout for information from your teachers regarding this night.

-Report card grades close Friday, November 17. Be on the lookout for the report cards by the end of the month.

-Thanksgiving break is right around the corner. Enjoy that time with family.

-We have a Winter/Holiday celebration and concert coming up on December 15 from 5-7 pm. More information will be coming regarding this event.

-We have a Facebook page dedicated to showing off the daily activies that take place at Lorraine. Please take a look at that and 'like' our page. We would love to have more followers to enjoy all of the great things that occur here at 71 Lorraine Avenue.
