Dr. Lydia T. Wright School of Excellence Dress Code Policy

Clothing:

• Clothing must not be see-through, excessively tight, or excessively short.

• Clothing must cover all undergarments, including wearing pants at waist level.

• Include safe and appropriate footwear (no backless shoes - flip flops, sandals, slippers).

• Must not include lewd, vulgar, obsence, libelous, degrading, or gang related language,

• Must not promote drug or alcohol use.

Jewelry:

• No jewelry that can be deemed a weapon or identified as associated with a gang.

• Hoop earrings will be smaller than 2 finger width.

• Necklaces will be tucked into shirts.

• No bracelets will be worn.

Purses will not be carried during the school day
