BPS #67 Physical Education teachers, Michael Reilly, Jenny Hart, and Ed Santoro worked with the Buffalo Sabres to host the Students of the Game Hockey Clinic during physical education classes. Students were very excited to participate in class. “It really means a lot to the students,” said Reilly.
The Buffalo Sabres launched the Students of the Game program to incorporate floor hockey into the physical education curriculum of schools such as the Discovery School #67, giving students experience and access to the game.
Students on hand received Students of the Game t-shirts and free tickets to a Sabres game. While wearing the t-shirt at a game, they will be shown on the Jumbotron and given a free puck, signed by a current player on the Sabres.
