This Thursday, April 23, #192 Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts is thrilled to host a special student event with MacArthur genius, Harvard professor, and National Book Award winner Imani Perry, author of Black in Blues: How a Color Tells the Story of My People.
In partnership with Just Buffalo Literary Center, students will have the rare opportunity to engage directly with Perry in a conversation centered on her work. Following the school visit, Perry will take the stage at Kleinhans Music Hall for the evening’s BABEL event; tickets are still available for those who wish to attend.
