Do you have a Bachelor’s degree and want to become a certified teacher?  BPS has recently been awarded a Teacher Residency grant from the Department of Labor.  Join us for an informational event on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 9:00 am located at Bennett High school.   We are accepting applicants that would like to gain certification in Special Education, ESOL, Math, World Languages and Science only. Participants enroll in a graduate education program, work a full year as paid BPS employees while in training, and receive an additional $15,000 stipend! We hope to you see there!

 The Buffalo Public Schools annual Urban Forum will take place on 2/8/24 beginning at 8:30am at the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. We are pleased to announce that Pulitzer Prize winning creator of the 1619 Project, and staff writer for the New York Times,  Nikole Hannah-Jones will serve as the Keynote Speaker who will be in discussion with Dr. Fatima Morrell, Chief of Culturally and Linguistically Responsive Initiatives. The Keynote will be live streamed on the Buffalo Public Schools website. Please join us!
