Technology Department Student Technology Leadership Program IT Career Expo

This year's Student Technology Leadership Program's IT Career Expo brought together students from Lewis J. Bennett School of Innovative Technology #363 and Hutchinson Central Technical High School #304 to explore cutting-edge career opportunities. The event featured two dynamic sessions—Drone Pilot and Careers in Surgery—designed to inspire and inform students about pathways in high-demand technology fields.

In the Drone Pilot session, students gained firsthand insights into the skills and certifications required to operate drones safely and professionally. The Careers in Surgery session gave students an inside look at the rapidly evolving world of surgical technology, robotics, and medical innovation, highlighting the critical role that technology plays in modern healthcare.

Throughout the expo, students engaged with industry professionals, asked thoughtful questions and discovered how their interests and talents could align with the future of technology. The IT Career Expo continues to empower Buffalo Public Schools students to envision and pursue rewarding careers in technology and beyond.
