Buffalo Public Schools Inter High Student Council Promotes Student Leadership and Engagement
The Buffalo Public Schools Inter-High Student Council is dedicated to promoting student leadership development through meaningful school and community engagement. The council brings together high school representatives from each participating secondary school or program across the district.
Members work collaboratively to support student voice and leadership, while a president is elected annually to represent students on the Board of Education. Through this structure, the council ensures that student perspectives are included in district-level conversations and decision-making.
In addition to leadership opportunities, the Inter-High Student Council organizes service-learning initiatives and supports local charitable organizations, strengthening connections between schools and the broader Buffalo community.
