Since your child may be participating in one of our summer programs, I am sharing reminders with you that will help them be successful.
Please review this information with your child and stay fully engaged in your child's activities, know their whereabouts, and set high expectations for them.
Students:
1. Report on time to summer classes every day.
2. Take your coursework seriously and complete all assignments.
3. Conduct yourself respectfully, safely and kindly with everyone—in school and on all buses.
Please note that New York State does not require school districts to offer summer classes. It is a privilege and opportunity to participate. Students who do not meet the expectations outlined above may be withdrawn from classes.
Parents/Caregivers: I ask that you take responsibility for directing your child toward their success. We will provide the instruction and opportunity—but you need to guide them over the finish line.
Thank you for your continued support.
