The Buffalo Public Schools Instructional Technology Programs recently celebrated the accomplishments of 123 students participating in the Girls Who Game program during the annual end-of-year celebration hosted by Canisius University. Students from Schools 6, 31, 37, 43, 74, 76, 79, and 94 were recognized for their hard work, creativity, and dedication throughout the year.

As part of the celebration, participants toured the Canisius University campus and engaged in hands-on, interactive science experiences led by university professors, giving students the opportunity to explore STEM concepts while experiencing life on a college campus.

The event also highlighted this year’s Girls Who Game competition winners:

1st Place – Buffalo Elementary School of Technology #6
2nd Place – Harriet Ross Tubman School #31
3rd Place – William J. Grabiarz School of Excellence #79

Congratulations to all of our Girls Who Game participants for an outstanding year of learning, collaboration, and innovation!
