WORK BASED LEARNING
Work-based learning (WBL) is an educational strategy that combines classroom learning with real-world work experiences to help students develop skills for the workplace. WBL programs can include activities like internships, apprenticeships, on-the-job training, and job shadowing. For a comprehension overview of WBL activities, visit the CTE Webpage.
NYS Education Department requires 54 hours of work based learning hours as part of the CDOS requirements earned at graduation.
