Buffalo Public Schools is committed to ensuring that students and families have meaningful access to school and district information, regardless of the language they speak. Translation and interpretation services are available to help families communicate with schools and access important information about their child’s education.
Families may request interpretation services for school meetings, conferences, and other important conversations with school or district staff. Written materials and important school and district communications may also be translated into the languages most commonly spoken by BPS families.
These services are intended to support clear, effective communication between families and the school district and to ensure that language is not a barrier to participating in a student’s education.
For assistance with translation or interpretation services, families should contact their child’s school or the appropriate BPS office.
