School Safety Information
As part of New York State's Project SAVE legislation, schools are required to conduct emergency response drills throughout the year. Our school partners with the Buffalo Police Department to ensure these drills are completed safely and effectively.
In compliance with these requirements, we will conduct a Lockdown Drill during the week of October 26, 2026. Prior to the drill, teachers will review procedures with students and explain the purpose of the exercise.
During the drill:
Teachers will close and lock classroom doors.
Students will move to a designated area away from doors and windows and remain seated on the floor.
Everyone will remain in place until an official "all clear" announcement is made by school administration or law enforcement.
Practicing these procedures helps us maintain a safe learning environment and ensures that students and staff know how to respond during an emergency.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at (716) 816-4778.
Sincerely,
Kathleen Schuta
Principal
