Welcome teachers, friends and family of the Buffalo Public Schools Art Education Department! This is an open and public platform meant to inform, share and celebrate the arts, as well as all that our BPS art teachers do in arts education. 

The Buffalo Public Schools (BPS) Art Education Department's mission is to encourage and cultivate in our students a life-long love, respect and appreciation for the Visual Arts by providing all students with a rigorous Visual Arts program that is aligned to NYS standards, the BPS curriculum, and Common Core Learning Standards. By doing so, the Visual Arts will become an integral part of the successes and achievements of all our students.
