CLRI hosts events to promote culturally and linguistically responsive practices that strengthen student belonging, elevate student voice, and expand equitable access to learning. These events also engage families and the broader community in meaningful collaboration with schools to build inclusive environments that celebrate diversity and support the success of every learner.

Hispanic Heritage Artistic Expression Contest. Open to all BPS Students . Submissions Due Electronically 9/30/2025. Accepted Formats include poetry, artwork, and short essays.. All submissions must be connected to the National Hispanic Heritage Month Theme: Collective Heritage - Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future.

The Office of CLRI presents Disproportionality Launch October 2, 2025 from 8:15am to 3:30pm at East Community High School. Opening remarks from BPS Superintendent Dr. Pascal Mubenga. Keynote Speech from Dr. LaGarrett J. King. This year's theme is Nia - Purpose.
