The mission and vision of the Office of Culturally and Linguistically Responsive Initiatives' Learning Technology Grant is to provide scholars with technological equity, access and opportunities for learning and growth toward a life of technological literacy, and a lens in which to consider technology as a career path. Scholars visit local, regional and national historic landmarks, capture photo and video footage, as well as conduct research and get first-account knowledge from informed tour guides, and then create virtual field trips. A committee of certified educators then work to create accompanying curriculum to allow for implementation across the state of New York and beyond.
