The Buffalo Board of Education is happy to announce the Skylight Paycard as an alternative to Direct Deposit!

Don't have a bank account but don't want to wait for the mail to deliver your paper check? Look no further! The Skylight Pay Card is a wonderful option to receive your pay.  

With the Skylight Pay Card:

  • Your money is in your account and ready to be used by 8 a.m. CT on each and every payday.

  • Your card can be used anywhere MasterCard® is accepted, including online.

  • There is no cost to sign up and there are many ways to access your wages for free. Some fees may apply based on how you use your Skylight Account.  See the attached fee schedule.

  • Use your Skylight ONE Prepaid MasterCard® to access your money at more than a a million All-Point® ATMs worldwide

  • No more paying high check-cashing and money-order fees

     

Signing up for the Skylight Card is easy! 

  • Download the direct deposit form below under "Related Files"

  • Complete the "Skylight Pay Card" section

  • Send completed form to our office by mail, e-mail, or fax

Pick up your card in our office at 814 City Hall. Skylight card requests take 2 pay periods (4 weeks) to go into effect.

To activate your card, call Skylight at 1-877-814-7679. Please wait about a week after picking up your card before activating it. 

If you've lost your card, please come by our office and request a replacement card. After receiving the replacement, please call Skylight and ask to have your account linked to the new card.
