Earth Science Regents: The Ellipse This video includes a narration and demonstration of an ellipse lab. In this lab students will construct 2 ellipses, examine and measure the ellipses, then determine some of the fundamental properties of ellipses. Student resource document available here.

Using Data to Determine an Epicenter of an Earthquake and Predict Tsunami Wave Arrival This video contains narration and demonstration of using data from the Sumatra earthquake and tsunami of 12.26.04 to determine an earthquake epicenter and calculate the position of the tsunami generated.
