Welcome to the BTRC!

The Buffalo Teacher Center is here to serve all Buffalo teachers, not only those who work in Buffalo Public Schools. The BTRC offers free in-person and virtual professional development to any non-public Buffalo teacher. Professional development will be provided through seminars and online classes. In addition, the BTRC workroom is available for use by any teacher in the area. The workroom is open Thursdays from 3:30-6:30 and Saturdays from 9-12. Teachers can make posters, laminate, print color copies and more. Please follow the BTRC on Instagram (QR code on the Teacher Center homepage).

CTLE Opportunities

BTRC Seminar Series

Is it hard for you to commit to a five-week course at the Buffalo Teacher Resource Center? Family commitments, sports and appointments often keep teachers from participating in BTRC sponsored classes. In order to help all teachers, the BTRC is introducing a Seminar Series. This is a new way to participate in professional development with more flexibility. Seminars take place in person or virtually and last three hours. Completion of each workshop will result in 3 CTLE hours.

We look forward to offering more seminars every session. Check out the teacher Center Course Page to view all the catalogs. Contact Molly Eldridge (meldridge@buffaloschools.org) to register for any seminars.

BTRC Classes

The BTRC offers Schoology classes designed specifically for teachers. There are 8 sessions every school year. Non-public teachers cannot register through PGS. Please email Molly Eldridge to register for any class. The BTRC reserves spots in every class for non-public teachers.
