What is Cinematography Studies?

The Cinematography Studies Educational Program, led by Kezia Pearson within the Digital Media and Web Services Department at Buffalo Public Schools, immerses students in a comprehensive curriculum covering camera operation, lighting techniques, sound recording, post-production editing, and storytelling aesthetics. Through hands-on projects, collaborative exercises, and industry-standard tools, students develop the technical proficiency and creative vision necessary for successful careers in film and media production, guided by Pearson's student-centered approach and supported by regular assessment and feedback.
