Buffalo Sewer Authority Mascot Contest

The Buffalo Sewer Authority is inviting students in grades K–12 across Buffalo to design an original mascot for the annual Queen City Clean Waters (QCCW) Fair. The initiative focuses on reducing sewer overflows and protecting local waterways while building a cleaner, more resilient city.

Students may submit one original, hand-drawn design that reflects the QCCW mission. Entries will be judged on creativity, originality, visual appeal, and connection to clean water.

Winners will be selected from elementary, middle, and high school levels, each receiving a $100 Buffalo Zoo gift card. Winning designs will be displayed at City Hall and featured in QCCW Fair materials. One grand prize winner will be chosen by public vote at the fair to become the official mascot.

All entries must be submitted by May 8, 2026 via email or mail.
