Student Technology Leaders from School #37’s Phoenix Tech Squad recently visited Ms. Rivera’s kindergarten classroom to teach an engaging, hands-on Woz ED robotics lesson.

During the session, kindergarten students learned to describe what a robot is, discover and understand why a robot needs a sensor to move, react, and complete tasks, and build their own robot equipped with a sensing feature, giving students an exciting introduction to early engineering and problem-solving.

Through peer-to-peer learning, our Student Technology Leaders empowered younger students to explore technology with confidence, curiosity, and creativity.

This experience reflects the mission of the Student Technology Leadership Program—empowering students through innovative, real-world learning opportunities that strengthen leadership, innovation, and technical skills.
