In accordance with New York State Education Law §2801-a and the regulations of the New York State Education Department (NYSED), the District has made its District-Wide School Safety Plan available for public review and comment.
The District-Wide School Safety Plan is designed to ensure the safety and well-being of all students, staff, and visitors by outlining policies and procedures for the prevention of, and response to, emergencies and crisis situations. For security reasons, specific emergency response protocols are not included in the publicly available version of the plan.
The plan was developed by the District’s School Safety Team and reflects current guidance, statutory requirements, and best practices.
Public Review Period:
The District-Wide School Safety Plan will be available for public comment for a period of at least 30 days, beginning on 3/27/26 and concluding on 4/30/26.
