On Monday, April 20th, three BPS students competed in the ESSEF (Empire State Scholastic Esports Federation) playoffs for Super Smash Bros! There were 185 students competing across NYS, with the top 100 making it to the playoffs.
BPS students participating in the playoffs were:
Jamel from Da Vinci HS (ranked 49th)
JJ from iPrep (ranked 52th)
Collin from Da Vinci (ranked 95th)
Although the BPS students were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs, it is a great win for our BPS Esports team to make it to the playoffs in their very first season of competition! Congratulations to all participants.
