
It was a beautiful day for a run Saturday morning! Over 70 5th & 6th graders and over 50 7th & 8th graders ran in the intramural and modified cross country meets this past weekend. What a wonderful event at Delaware Park!








Big shout-out to our McKinley football team on their impressive win over Williamsville East! Friday's game was extra special as we welcomed the team back home to the newly renovated Charles Dingboom Field. Flag Football kicked off the season on Wednesday on a beautiful sunny day! Over 175 boys and girls from grades 5 through 8 participated in our 3 divisions, 5th & 6th grade coed, 7th and 8th grade boys and 7th and 8th grade girls! #futureisbright









September 20, 2025, BPS honored Lewis J. Bennett’s 100th Anniversary with a Harvard Cup throwback as the Bennett Tigers competed against the Hutch Tech Engineers.
Bennett alumni filled the stadium providing a perfect way to celebrate history. What a fitting tribute to the past, present, and future of Bennett athletics!

The BPS Modified Football Team delivered a commanding performance, shutting out the Sweet Home Panthers with a 27-0 victory! From the opening kickoff to the final whistle, our athletes showcased incredible teamwork, discipline, and determination. Go BPS!!



Monday was a beautiful night for BPS soccer as the newly remodeled Riverside Stadium reopened its doors and showed off its brand new turf for a D'Youville Cup double header! I - Prep topped City Honors 7 - 0 in the early tilt while Lafayette squeaked by a much improved McKinley team under the lights 2 -0!

This is more than a win. It’s a milestone that reflects the dedication of our student-athletes, coaches, families, and supporters across the city. The entire Buffalo community is proud of these young athletes for making history on the field and representing our schools with pride. 💙💛
We were also honored by a special surprise visit from our new Superintendent, Dr. Pascal Mubenga, who joined us in celebrating this unforgettable moment for Buffalo Athletics. 🙌
