The Buffalo Public Schools Technology Department deploys and manages computing devices for staff and students in a 1:1 environment.  Our computing technology along with strong instructional practice, and parental guidance gives our students necessary skills for success in the 21st Century.  Devices are maintained at The Center for Innovation, Technology & Training (CITT).

Hot Spots (WiFi)

On Friday, June 30, 2023, the Emergency Connect Fund [ECF] Program expired. 

The IT department would also like to share information on the Affordable Connectivity Program [ACP] which is available. The link is provided. https://www.fcc.gov/acp

The Affordable Connectivity Program provides:

  • Up to $30/month discount for broadband service;

  • Up to $75/month discount for households on qualifying Tribal lands; and

  • A one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet purchased through a participating provider if the household contributes more than $10 but less than $50 toward the purchase price.

The Affordable Connectivity Program is limited to one monthly service discount and one device discount per household.
