Congratulations to the Burgard Bulldogs boys basketball team! They braved the weather and won the championship in the Christian Central Academy Tournament while improving to 5 - 0. They defeated a tough Tonawanda team 70 - 58. Senior Mohamed was named Tournament MVP and fellow senior Patience was named to the All - Tournament team. Congrats to Coach Phil Butler and his squad.



Hanukkah begins today. Wishing our families, students, and staff a meaningful start to Hanukkah. May the Festival of Lights bring joy, reflection, and time with loved ones throughout the eight days ahead.
Students hit the ice for some winter fun and healthy activity. Thanks to Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and the Rich Entertainment Group, BPS students and staff will enjoy 46,000 free ice-skating tickets this season!

Prep Takes the Plunge! For the 5th year, International Prep's students took on the Polar Plunge to support Special Olympics New York. They showed amazing courage and school pride as they braved the icy water! Thanks to everyone who donated, iPrep raised $2,000 — double what was raised last year! 💙❄️🌊



Today, members of the Inter High School Student Council had the opportunity to meet with Superintendent Dr. Mubenga to share their voices, ideas, and perspectives. We are proud of our student leaders for stepping up and engaging in meaningful conversations about the future of our schools!

Holiday giving is in full swing at North Park Community School #50! Parents and students donated cozy socks and crafted ornaments to spread warmth and joy to children at Oishei Children’s Hospital. A huge thank you to our wonderful teachers for organizing this meaningful event and inspiring kindness all around!

What a season! Our McKinley Macks made history with their first Section VI Class A Championship and showed incredible heart. Though the run ended last night, we’re proud of their grit. Thank you to our athletes, coaches, Principal Terence Jenkins, and the BPS community for the support.
