Alt text: Four-step graphic showing a mobile app for student bus tracking. Step 1 shows a phone screen labeled “Choose Your Student’s Route” with a list of routes. Step 2 shows a map where a pin is dropped to set up a geofence. Step 3 shows notification hours being configured on a map screen. Step 4 shows a map tracking a bus route with alerts enabled.
Announcement: The NFTA has notified BPS that single tracking will begin on Sunday, March 22. During this time, trains will operate on a single (inbound) track between Church Station and Canalside Station. Outbound platforms at Church, Seneca, and Canalside stations will be closed.
Additionally, starting April 5, single tracking will continue but will shift to the outbound track. At that time, the Cars on Main Street Project will begin, initiating a long-term phase of work that will impact inbound rail operations between Church Station and Canalside.

Happy Groundhog Day! A tradition in folklore where a groundhog, specifically Punxsutawney Phil, emerges from his burrow to "predict" the weather. If he sees his shadow, six more weeks of winter are predicted; if not, an early spring is expected.

Today marks Dr. Pascal Mubenga’s 100th day as Superintendent of Buffalo Public Schools. In that time, he has visited all 60 schools, hosted four community town halls, met with 11 district unions, and engaged with students, staff, families, and community leaders across Buffalo.

Focused on listening, learning, and building relationships, this marks just the beginning as we move forward together for our students and families.
