Last night, during the BOE meeting Daijha Mims was officially sworn in as the president of the All-High Student Council. Additionally, BPS extended our congratulations to the students from PS 363 Lewis J. Bennett School of Innovative Technology who participated in the Cybersecurity Summer Program at Trocaire College. 🎓👏
Buffalo Public Schools takes the safety of its students and staff very seriously. We are aware that the FBI is investigating a nationwide cyber threat that originated in Texas and that is not specific to New York State or the City of Buffalo. Out of an abundance of caution, however, all recess activities were conducted indoors today at our schools. It’s crucial to stress that students and staff were not at risk, and this will not affect dismissal or evening sporting events.

Today is the start of the new 3-tier bell system which will mean shorter bus rides and more time in school, thanks to our hardworking BPS staff and First Student partners. Remember to thank your bus drivers and bus aides for their hard work. Let's go!

The Buffalo Public Schools Transportation Department met with First Student Staff for our beginning of year kick-off. Routes are done, trial drives are being conducted, and letters are in the mail.
