Coach Bryant's impact goes far beyond wins and losses. Happy Groundhog Day! A tradition in folklore where a groundhog, specifically Punxsutawney Phil, emerges from his burrow to "predict" the weather. If he sees his shadow, six more weeks of winter are predicted; if not, an early spring is expected.

Throughout February, Buffalo Public Schools celebrates Black History Month by highlighting the history, excellence, and impact of Black communities in Buffalo and beyond.

World Hijab Day, observed on February 1st, raises awareness about the hijab and promotes religious tolerance. It encourages women of all backgrounds to wear a hijab for a day to foster understanding and combat stereotypes.

Today marks Dr. Pascal Mubenga’s 100th day as Superintendent of Buffalo Public Schools. In that time, he has visited all 60 schools, hosted four community town halls, met with 11 district unions, and engaged with students, staff, families, and community leaders across Buffalo.
